Embassy of Timor-Leste Welcomes Secretary of State for Secondary Education and Technical Schools in Seoul
SEOUL, 8 SEPTEMBER 2026 — The Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the Republic of Korea had the honour of warmly receiving His Excellency Mr. Domingos Lemos, Secretary of State for Secondary Education and Technical Schools of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, upon his official arrival at Incheon International Airport alongside the accompanying national delegation on 7 and 8 September 2026.
His Excellency Mr. Domingos Lemos and the distinguished delegation are undertaking an official mission to the Republic of Korea at the cordial invitation of the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET), participating in an intensive study visit focusing on technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
The Embassy is pleased to facilitate the delegation’s agenda throughout their stay. This study mission provides a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences, and institutional best practices, strengthen technical educational cooperation, and further consolidate the longstanding, friendly relations between the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and the Republic of Korea.
